The tactical rogue-like RPG with card combat mechanics Deep Sky Derelicts from developer Snowhound Games announced today that its Definitive Edition is coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch.

The new, ultimate definitive edition is slated to launch on Mar. 24, 2020 and will carry a price tag of $24.99.

Deep Sky Derelicts’ initial launch brought it onto Steam Early Access 2017 and it received a positive reception by fans. Since then, the game has received multiple new features and fresh content, which has created the perfect moment to bring the game to consoles.

The game takes place in the far future, in which society has collapsed into a dystopian drudge and split into two separate factions the poor and the affluent. Players take control of poor mercenaries who exist in a stateless society surrounded by the ever-present risk of death and must live off scraps scavenged from derelict stations and ships floating in the void.

There is a fabled derelict ship somewhere in space that could contain treasure that would seal a ticket for citizenship amid the affluent and thus a cozy life down a gravity well.

The search begins with a team of hardened scavengers who pick through bones of old, abandoned technology in search of navigational coordinates that may lead closer to this treasure. The story is told with comic-book style artwork and played out with turn-based combat facilitated with cards that are provided through equipment.

The Definitive Edition will include the base game and two DLCs: New Prospects and Station Life.
