Brunson E&A, publisher of the MMORPG Aestellia Online, today announced that its game has officially landed on Steam and is available as a free-to-play title for all users to download and play.

The title, which was announced earlier this month as launching today, Jan. 30, is a fantasy MMORPG with elements similar to many Asian online games but includes the twist that players are always accompanied by pets called Astels.

Players from the Korean and English communities can now download and launch the game from its official Steam page and join in on the current season of the game.

Accompanying this launch today will also be two special in-game events. The “Dogavi Cresent Event” will introduce an event dungeon that will allow players to earn special event tokens and the “Taking Care of Pimpi Event” will pit players against a giant spider boss in a 12-person party where players may acquire a legendary treasure in exchange for helping Pimpi.

According to the publisher, Steam has always been a milestone plan in the game’s future and now it is come to fruition.

“Steam has always been a part of our plans, but we wanted to make sure everything was stable, and properly up and running before we made a move on Steam,” a representative from the Brunson team told MMORPG.com. “With our content plan in place, we’re ready.”

The team also added that both the standalone client and the Steam client would receive updates simultaneously.

After this launch, and later into 2020, Brunson plans to offer guilds in Astellia more content including a special guild arena for 16 vs. 16 person battles and a more chaotic version with 48 vs. 48.

Other updates are also planned including a new Astel champion, new dungeons, events, the addition of an Astel Equipment system, a new 12 player raid, and much, much more.
