In the world of the pay-to-play MMO such as World of Warcraft, Rift, and many others new advertising campaigns have begun to appear that tout that players can play from levels 1-20 for free. In fact, for the most part they’re speaking to audiences who have been getting used to games that are entirely free-to-play over the years but not offering anything of the sort. To many of us stomping through these games, level 20 isn’t even out of the newbie zone.
