It’s that time of year again and love is in the air and Miss Lisette de Valentione has her hands full keeping it all together in Old Gridania during this event in the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online published by Square Enix.
Valentione’s Day is a yearly event that happens in FFXIV Online that reflects the Valentine’s Day celebration including red heart decoration everywhere, braziers (with glowing hearts flowing from them) set up in every intersection, and love is in the air.
To start the event, players need only find Lisette de Valentione in Old Gridania beginning Feb. 8 standing at X:10.2,Y:9.4 and accept her quests three.
The objective will be to assist Lisette to spread the love throughout Eorzea the only way she knows how: to bring it to everyone in the most overwrought overdone way possible!
Players will be duly compensated for their overtures of amor, of course. This year there will be an adorably cute barding for their chocobo called the “Postmoogle Barding,” which adds a cute blue postman’s cap, blue leggings, red pouches to the bird’s plumage. And, of course, players can also receive a Valentione’s Day themed mobile for their housing that they can hang against their walls.
Square Enix added that certain rewards from previous iterations of the event can also be obtained during the event from the vendor as well. This will give certain intrepid adventurers reason to keep doing the event daily to reap older rewards that they might have missed out on.
Be sure to celebrate the event with Miss de Valentione before Feb. 22, because that’s when the event comes to an end and all the rewards will be shuttered.
