The “Attack of the Anti-Monitor” is on in DC Universe Online, a superhero MMORPG developed by Daybreak Games Company, along with the 9th anniversary of the game’s launch.
To celebrate this anniversary, not only has DCUO brought in this new event for players, but there are gifts.
All players will receive a free character advance to CR255 (on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC) and CR100 (on Nintendo Switch). There is only one character advance per account, so choose wisely.
Furthermore, if players want the Hera’s Strength style on multiple characters, it will now be available through Style Unlocking after it is equipped on any character.
Members, those who have paid a subscription, will also get their own gifts. After logging in, Members will be able to claim a special Member Appreciation Gift Box. Inside will be a Member Gift Artifact Cache, Artifact Catalysts, XP, and Seals — there will also be a full set of all-new royal chroma materials.
Materials are a type of color and texture that can be displayed on armor and costume pieces. The new royal chroma materials will deliver elegance and majesty in seven colors and Members will get all seven colors from the get-go.
To receive the Member gifts, a player must be a Member and log in between now and Jan. 31.
Also as part of the anniversary celebration, DCUO is bringing Open Epsidoes back. This means that any episode through Episode 35 will be free-to-play by all players (with increased loot) until Feb. 7, 2020. (This excludes Metal Part II).
