Thanksgiving is this week and that also means that Friday is Black Friday – the largest sales day of the year for most brick-and-mortar retailers. Of course, we also now have Cyber Monday, and the entire notion of Black Friday has extended to over a week before the Friday in question.

There are a few different massively multiplayer games on the market that have already released plans for their Black Friday sales.

ArenaNet, the developer of Guild Wars 2, announced free gifts refreshing daily coming to the in-game store as well as discounts for Black Friday. The gifts start Nov. 28 with a free Heroic Booster, a Waypoint Unlock Box, two Black Lion Statuettes, five Transmutation Charges, and a Revive Orb. Beginning Nov. 29, daily deals will begin including Character Expansion slots 30% off, Unbreakable Gathering Tools 25% off, GW2 Heart of Thorns Deluxe Upgrade 40% off and GW2: Path of Fire Deluxe Upgrade 25% off, and finally on Dec. 2 the World Boss Portal Device and Maguuma Pact Operation Device both 20% off.

Digital Extremes’ Warframe is offering 50% off a large number of in-game items – including the Shazwin, which is a Lotus-themed space guitar and the “space Roomba” Domestik Drone – starting Friday, Nov. 29 and continuing until Monday, Dec. 2. Physical merchandise in the Warframe official store will also be discounted 50% on a second item when you buy one item that is the same value or more.

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios has put everything in the Star Trek Online C-Store at 25% off, or more, and Neverwinter Online has discounted everything in the Zen Market by 30%.

ZeniMax announced Black Friday Sales for Elder Scrolls Online, that reduces copies of The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr by 67% for the Black Friday, Cyber Monday period.

Blizzard Entertainment is cutting price tags by up to 50% for the Black Friday period. This includes World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for $24.99, down from $49.99, and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Digital Deluxe Items for $10.00, down from $20.00. Other notable sales include Diablo III: Reaper of Souls ­– Digital Deluxe Edition for $19.99, down from $39.99.

“As an extra bonus, from now through January 6, 2020, new players can save 50% on the first month of a new World of Warcraft subscription,” Blizzard wrote. “A subscription includes access to both World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft Classic.”

Funcom’s Secret World Legends, the reboot of The Secret World, DLC on Steam has been reduced by 60% including the Dawn of the Moonlight Collector’s Edition for $7.99, the Operative Bundle for $7.99, and the Supernatural Bundle for $23.99.

Trion Worlds’ RIFT is running a sale on in-game credits that doubles purchasing power.

Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert Online is currently 50% off on Steam until Dec. 3. This includes the base game for $4.99, the Black Desert Online – Traveler’s Package for $14.99, and the Black Desert Online – Explorer’s Package $24.99.

Daybreak Game Company’s EverQuest II is having a Thanksgiving party and offering a 20% membership marketplace discount.
