Mass Effect 3 was perhaps the most disappointing video game in history because its ending was a complete disaster that destroyed the series, as well as the entire setting of the game universe. BioWare now hopes to change that with a new patch which will explain the endings and go into more depth. Oh, it won’t actually change the ending to something that makes sense or has precedent in the game world, though. That would violate the drug-induced vision of Mac Walters, the Mass Effect 3 lead writer who created the ending in the first place with Casey Hudson while the rest of the writing team pounded on the locked door and searched fruitlessly through the building for a fire axe or locksmith. He also wrote the cereal ninja, by the way. IGN has the story.
