Most gamers think about growing up to work in the game industry. I mean, who doesn’t have an idea for a game? Only a fraction of those gamers who try for that brass ring actually catch it, though.     That said, keep in mind the game industry is a little like the movie business, with less maturity and bigger egos. It is a rough, uncertain world of paranoia and layoffs around every corner. The industry is fueled by the anguished screams of the souls it grinds down to dust.

    Just something to think about.

    I don’t think “pointing and laughing at” counts as “working in.”
