Video Game Sales Expected to be Down in June

The market has finally caught up to video games, and sales have been down for the past few months. This trend is likely to continue, with a drop in sales for June over this time last year. The weakness in the gaming market can be explained as part of the general economic malaise, combined with a lack of real blockbuster superstar games coming out.     While big game releases are thin on the ground, the indie gaming scene is beginning to take off. If you need a gaming fix, take a look at what smaller studios have to offer. Steam and Xbox LIVE are good places to start.
