Didn’t make it out to the San Diego Comic-Con this year? Maybe you did make it and there was just so much stuff you couldn’t fit it all into your brain? The video game world saw a lot of announcements at the mega-convention, so it’d be a real shame to limit yourself by the cruel parameters of time and space. So we have a wrap-up of what was good, what was bad, and what you need to know about the next year in gaming from the San Diego Comic-Con. USA Today has the story.

    The big news from Comic-Con is about Fortnite, a base-building game which is using the brand new Unreal 4 engine. A lot of games run on Unreal 3, and a lot of developers are curious to see if switching up to Unreal 4 is worth the effort. Fortnite isn’t just a game, it’s a proving ground.
