Major League Gaming to Conduct Serious Business in Ohio

The competitive gaming scene is ready to swing back into action as Major League Gaming ramps up their ninth annual Pro Circuit in Ohio with their MLG Winter Championship. The event, and the prize money, is bigger than ever, which just goes to show how gaming is growing as a power. The featured games include Starcraft, Halo, and Mortal Kombat, among others.     I’m not sure what to think about this. Turning games in Serious Business isn’t good for the player community. On the other claw, promoting gaming as a real sport helps spread our power and drives us closer to the goal of world domination. For now, I’ll just settle on being amused as mainstream news is forced to cover our scene.
