World of Warplanes is the next game from the folks who made the highly successful World of Tanks. It takes the arcade-realism sim of World of Tanks to the skies with a variety of fighting airplanes. The selection of planes on offer ranges from the tarp and wire days of early combat aviation, to the jets of the missile age. So how will players fly these things?     Control schemes are really important to flight sims. It was overly complex controls that killed the genre, but simple controls could bring flight sims back. The truth is, the average player doesn’t care about realism, they just want to swoop in on a bad guy and blow him from the sky. Hopefully, World of Warplanes will deliver.
