Independent Games Festival Opens Doors to Submissions

Posted by | August 9, 2012

The 15th annual Independent Games Festival has opened the doors to submissions to compete for some $55,000 in prizes. Last year’s grand prize winner was Fez, which went on to do big things across the indie scene over Xbox LIVE. If you have a video game project in the works, this would be a great way to show off the product of your mad genius. Joystiq has the story.

Last year saw about 850 submissions across the festival, which is a huge number. It just goes to show that people are really excited about game design and are finding the tools to make their dreams into reality. It’s a good sign.
