A Breakdown of Video Game Spending for First Quarter 2012

The numbers are in, and it looks like the smart money is on 3.4 billion human dollars. About 1.5 billion of that came from new physical games, the kind your parents might have purchased in something called a “store.” This represents a decline in physical media purchases, while at the same time, digital sales are up by 10-percent.
