Writer’s Guild of America Award for Video Games

Video games are a strange medium. As technology improves, so too do the expectations of gamers. Games have a need to become more involving, more immersive. For that, video games need strong characters and solid storylines. Which means, games need writers. The Writer’s Guild of America has recognized video game writers with an award, and the 2011 award went to one Amy Hennig. Who is Amy, and what game did she work on? Forbes has the story.

    Of course, it can’t be a proper awards article without the author being baffled and confused by the winner. Could it have been a political decision? Oh no!
