The numbers are in, and it looks like gamers spent around 4.5 billion of the human dollars in the second quarter, 2011. That’s kind of like a lot. Just consider this as a sign of how powerful a force we gamers are becoming in the world economy. Gamasutra has the story.

    Just like how, in the future, all restaurants will be Taco Bell, all culture is going to be gaming. Either playing the game, making the game, talking about the game, or just hanging out in the game. Game, game, game, all the way.

    I’m really betting on The Matrix here, is what I’m saying. Only with less head spike, and more Woman In The Red Dress.
