Sony Pulls Two Games from the PlayStation Store

Sony has a habit of locking down their game systems, and the PlayStation Vita is no exception. To get around these locks, hackers have taken to including jailbreak code in various apps and games they then submit to the PlayStation store. Now Sony is fighting back, including pulling two games that allow unsigned, that is, homebrew, code to run on the Vita. The Verge has the story.

    While the hacker who created the hidden jailbreak code insists it can’t be used for piracy, Sony is taking no chances. Also, Sony just hates power users, so there’s that, too.
