A minor bugfix patch for the popular open-world fantasy game Skyrim has sent players into fits of anguish, gnashing their teeth and rending their garments. It seems the 1.2 patch introduces a whole host of new bugs, including one that cancels resistances. Resistances are what let the player shrug off damage from spells and elemental effects, like say, dragon breath. Without it, these very common powers can one-shot a player instantly. Also, something about dragons flying backwards? 1UP has the story and video.
