Silent Hill Downpour Review

Silent Hill proved to be the rarest of gaming gems, a series that started strong straight out the gate. Unfortunately, it went downhill fast, and the latest title in the series, Silent Hill Downpour, isn’t likely to slow that dark descent. What does this new game have to offer? IGN has the story.

    I watched some of this on the YouTubes. Near as I can tell, it neatly combines everything unfun from the previous games, and drops all the cool, interesting weirdness. It’s just a damn shame.

    It’s a shame. Weapon Degradation, running, Same things that SH: Shattered Memories had… I was looking forward to something like SH 1 or SH 2 did for the series… Shame a good franchise getting brought down like that…
