SecuROM is a DRM system widely hated by gamers for its amazing ability to screw up computers and prevent legitimate customers from playing the games they have purchased. It’s so much trouble that a lawsuit was actually filed against EA for using it in the evolution-themed game, Spore. Now, efforts from Reclaim Your Game have revealed that SecuROM is built into Mass Effect 3 and EA’s Origin service.
