Nuclear Robot Dune Buggy Lands on Mars via Rocket-Powered Sky Crane

Curiosity is a robotic exploration robot about the size of a car. This rover is part of a NASA project to explore the surface of Mars and discover the nature of the red planet and its history. Early Monday morning, Curiosity touched down safely and sent its first pictures of another world. Here’s a video of the landing.
