It only took eight months, too. To be fair, the DS system didn’t need a price drop to start selling, nor did it have Nintendo execs and shareholders carrying pitchforks and torches into strategy meetings. The 3DS is certainly a strange little beast. It’ll be a while before any third-party game maker outside Nintendo knows what to do with it. Hopefully, the 3DS will have its Resident Evil 4 moment soon.
