Nintendo Adds Two Million Notches to Their Belt

Posted by | December 27, 2011

Nintendo continues to roll and crush through the gaming market as two more titles in their lineup tick over into million-sold territory. Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land both joined the club over the holiday season. The Big N has been doing well with its new 3DS handheld machine since they dropped its price down from the heady realms of Too Damn Much. Games like Mario Kart and Super Mario Land have made the weird little technomutant more attractive, as well. GameInformer has the story, and a cute picture.

Well hey, Nintendo making good games? That’s a new one. The 3DS still needs more third-party support, though. You’d think the lower graphic threshold and quick-play style of the machine would be perfect for smaller game companies to make their name.
