Apple’s portable not-a-notebook slab, the iPad, has found a niche among computery types, but the one place it hasn’t gained much traction is the gaming industry. Part of that was because of hardware limits. Relatively tepid graphics and processor speeds were a hurdle for any developers looking toward the iPad as a platform.
