New iPad Has the Horsepower, Will it Have the Games?

Apple’s portable not-a-notebook slab, the iPad, has found a niche among computery types, but the one place it hasn’t gained much traction is the gaming industry. Part of that was because of hardware limits. Relatively tepid graphics and processor speeds were a hurdle for any developers looking toward the iPad as a platform. The latest generation of iPad, however, boasts impressive specs, the equal of a modern-day console system. So where are the games? CNN has the story.

    There’s another reason. Touchscreen controls got nothing on keyboard and mouse for precision and flexibility. Can you imagine tapping and sliding in Modern Warfare?
