Wow. For those who don’t know, the ending of BioWare’s flagship title Mass Effect 3 is terrible. To describe it properly would require words I’m not going to use on this site. Suffice to say, nothing you do in the game matters, none of the themes played in the game matter, and it ends the setting completely. There is no happily ever after, because there is no ever after to go happily about. BioWare is just starting to get the hint this was, perhaps, a bad way to end five years of epic game storytelling.
