James Cameron of Avatar, Terminator, and Titanic fame, has built a deep sea sub for a crack at something that hasn’t been done since 1960; diving to the bottom of the Marianas Trench. The Trench is the deepest known part of the ocean, and no one is really sure what’s down there. You really should check this out. CNET has the story.
That is one beautiful machine, no doubt. So maybe the dive was a little egotistical, but is still incredibly cool. This is 100% grade-A living in the future you’re seeing.
