It Must Be Wednesday. Oklahoma Bill Against Violent Video Games

Posted by | February 8, 2012

This time, instead of trying to ban video games, a recent bill introduced to the Oklahoma legislature would seek to simply tax the games out of stores. All the old arguments are in there, too. Desensitizes children, contributes to obesity, increases bullying. Of course, none of these are true, have never been true, and they might as well be pulling their reasoning from the Witchfinder’s handbook. Do violent video games fly through the night and curdle cow’s milk, as well?
