Gotham City Imposters has been doing well as downloadable content on the Xbox and PlayStation 3, but there seems to be a spanner in the works. An admin on the game’s official forum has confirmed the existence of a bug that could delete a player’s progress and perks. Ordinarily, this would just be annoying, but players can squirt cash into the machine for XP boosts and other goodies that are also devoured by the bug. Watching your progress go munch is one thing, but if it takes your money as well…? Joystiq has the story.
I’ve fiddled around with Gotham City Imposters, and it looks like a good game. Needs a little more personality, though, or rather, more unique personality. And hats.
