Flash Notices Gaming Makes Money, Want Their Cut

Adobe, makers of the popular Flash media program, have noticed that on occasion, Flash-based games make money. Because companies like to get paid for doing nothing, Adobe has decided they deserve a cut of that money. Apparently buying the Flash developer tools isn’t enough anymore. Will Microsoft start demanding a cut of any book written on Microsoft Word? Webmonkey has the story.

    Of course, you could stay with an older version of Flash, and be tied to an aging dev platform. Or you could take a look at HTML 5, which doesn’t have any bloodsucking leeches laying claim to your work. Your choice, really.
