Game studios always have their own cultures and ways of doing things. Putting together a game is a major work, with a thousand moving parts, and by the end of it a successful team is so close they communicate by telepathy. Introducing folks from another studio into that process is always going to cause some cultural clashes, but professionals can learn from this friction and trade best practices with their outside brethren.
