Clang Kickstarter Enters Final Hour

So there’s this guy, Neal Stephenson, and he sometimes writes books. You might have heard of him. He also likes swords. Really, really likes swords. He likes swords so much he wants to make a video game based on swording people with as much accuracy to the really real art of swordplay as possible. That game is called Clang, and it has a Kickstarter. More to the point, with only a few days left to go, the Kickstarter has almost reached its goal of $500,000. USA Today has the story.

Historical swordplay is one thing, but I have to wonder what the internet could do with a sword-fighting simulator. Create a space for physically possible moves at realistic speeds, and I wonder what gamers will come up with in the way of sword styles.
