Canon’s Mixed Reality Goggles

Augmented reality is a big thing, or rather, will be. The technology involves displaying virtual scenes and objects over a view of for-real reality. For example, a virtual box might be picked up off a real table, or a computer-generated ghost could slide out from a real closet in a dark room. Canon has been experimenting with the concept of augmented reality, and come up with a set of goggles that let you plant feet firmly on both sides of the line between the real and the virtual. Gizmodo has the story.
