Calling Master Chief, BBC Would Like an Interview After Picking Wrong UNSC

Posted by | May 28, 2012

It looks like someone at BBC News in the back has had a failure of their Google fu. Instead of posting the appropriate logo for the UNSC (United Nations Security Council) they plastered up the logo for the Halo UNSC (United Nations Space Command). The background appeared during an otherwise serious news report about Syria. Certainly, I think that the Pillar of Autumn or Master Chief would be welcomed by the U.K. and the Security Council, if the Space Command can spare him to help end the bloodshed. VentureBeat has the story.

I blame Google Images. When you make it so easy to search for things, you also make it easy for people to go on autopilot and not pay much attention to what they’ve found. Also, games continue to seep into the real world. More news at 11.
