Blocks All the Way Down, it’s Minecraft Xbox 360 and the 1.7.3 Patch

Posted by | July 12, 2012

If you’re one of those strange console people who don’t play games on the golden and holy PC, then you’re probably into Minecraft on the Xbox. That’s a good life decision, since Minecraft is a great game that will be played for decades. As a double bonus, a new patch is coming out with 1.7.3 that takes care of many issues on the Xbox, as well as throwing in a whole bunch of new goodies. That means cobblestone, pistons, and fences. Woo. Also a ban function, because Xbox. Check out the full list of updates in this article. OXM has the story.

This latest patch brings Minecraft on the Xbox up to date with the Minecraft PC beta, which is a good place to be. I also hear something about a skins pack DLC. You do need more Minecraft skins, right?

There’s a lot of good content popping up about Xbox Minecraft in my standard YouTube channels. Plus, the presence of a ban button is going to help people somewhat in dealing with the obvious social construct of it being part of — well, Xbox community.
