Apple Pulls Game Subscription Service From App Store

Posted by | November 24, 2011

Wow, that was fast. Announced just a short while ago, the game maker Big Fish Games was all set up to release their content in a subscription service over Apple’s iPad and App store. Apparently, that has changed, with Apple pulling the service from their service. Could it have something to do with Big Fish Games designing their game network to flow through the competing Android platform and then saying so out loud where the notoriously exclusive Apple could hear? Gee. PC Mag has the story.

After taking a look at the games Big Fish is trying to push I’m forced to agree with Apple’s judgement. Get a proper bundle of decent indie games in there, you know, the sort where the creators give a damn about the games they’re making, and we’ll talk.
