APB: Reloaded, a cops and robbers MMO that’s something like Grand Theft Auto without the terminally braindead characters, is getting an upgrade. They’re rolling out the latest 1.9.0 patch, bringing with it a host of bug fixes and tiny little adjustments to shut down the flavor of the month PVP build. The patch also adds new features like titles and some activities. Just as important, certain methods of griefing your own team count as teamkilling now, with an appropriate response. About half the patch notes are various ways of shutting down griefing and exploiting. Must be a fun bunch of people over there playing murderous psychopathic criminals on a death spree. At least it’s good to see a game improving the quality of life for those rare few players who aren’t out to ruin everyone’s fun.
